59 Kilometers, two lane highway will lead from Muzaffarabad to Chakothi linking Ghari Dopatta, Chakar and Hattian Bala. The Road serves as a major link from Azam Jammu & Kashmir to Indian held Kashmir . It was damaged by the earthquake in October 2005. The project is largest employer in the area. This road has lot of importance due to trade and tourism and will provide smooth way for travelers.
The work force employed by the FWO is approx 250 all ranks with more than 190 plant / equipment / vehicle pieces of all categories.

The major purpose of this project is rehabilitation of the area to facilitate the affected people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir . This project will make good environment for business leaving a positive legacy of economic growth and a stronger skill base in the region.
