Punjab, Pakistan. It is situated 15 km south-east of
Murree hill
Location
Patriata is located in
Murree Tehsil which is a subdivision of
Rawalpindi District. It is the highest point in the area and the hills stand 6,790 feet(2070m) above sea level.
Tourism
The hill station is a tourist location as the climate here is much cooler than further south. There is a chair lift and cable car system for transportation to the highest point. The area is heavily forested and there are many monkeys and leopards in the area.

Murree was the summer capital of the Punjab Province of British India until 1864. The hill station is a popular getaway destination for Islamabad's populace. It is located on the southern slopes of the Western Himalayan foothills as they ascend northeastwards at an average altitude of 2,291 metres (7,516 ft). It experiences pleasant summers and cold, snowy winters. The city is noted for its Tudorbethan and neo-gothic architecture dating from the colonial era.
